For Glycohemoglobin (HbA1c) testing Menarini Diagnostics is market leader in Europe. To monitor the performance of their HbA1c-instruments in various European countries they have launched the MenQC website using the CueSee tool.
Abbott Laboratories (MediSense division) provides hand-held glucose meters for diabetes care. To validate the performance of the meters in the UK, Welsh External Quality Assessment Scheme (WEQAS) is contracted to send quality control materials to the users who utilize the CueSee tool to report and collate their results data.
